## What is the Insights tab?

It's where Annise tells you what it has noticed about your holdings, trends and performance — alerts, data quality notices, platform updates, and messages within your Family Office, all in one list.

## What happened to the Events tab?

It was renamed. **Events** is now **Insights** — same tab, same list.

## What kinds of insights are there?

**Portfolio**, **Annise Alert**, **Data Quality**, **Platform Alert**, **Family Office**, **Security**, and **Annise Support**. Each is shown as an icon in the Type column — hover it to see the name.

## What is a Portfolio insight?

Activity and thresholds on your holdings — price and allocation alerts, trades, income, maturities, and trade summaries.

## What is a Security insight?

A sign-in or password reset on your account.

## What is a Platform Alert?

Something about Annise itself or your connections — an account that needs re-authenticating, a benchmark or tax setting change, or a market closure.

## What is a Data Quality insight?

A notice about the data behind your securities — a new security, a price or metadata change, or transaction processing.

## What does the Level chip mean?

It shows how far up an insight applies — **Family Office**, **Entity**, **Account**, or **Managers & Advisors**. Each level has its own colour so you can scan by scope.

## Why does an insight about my trust say "Entity"?

Trust-level insights are labelled **Entity** rather than **Trust**. It's the same thing.

## How do I filter my insights?

The filter button opens a **Custom Filter** dialog. In **Step 1** choose **Type**, **Date Range**, or **Read / Unread filter**; in **Step 2** pick the values. **ADD FILTER** applies it. Applied filters show as chips above the list — remove one with its **×**, or use **Clear All**.

## How do I see archived insights?

Turn on **Include Archived Messages** at the bottom of the Custom Filter dialog.

## Can I search my insights?

Yes. The search box filters the list by text and works alongside whatever filters you already have set.

## What's the difference between archiving and deleting?

Archiving keeps the insight and takes it out of your default view — you can see it again with **Include Archived Messages**. Deleting removes it.

## How do I mark insights as read or unread?

Tick the checkbox on the rows you want, then use **Mark as Read** or **Mark as Unread** above the list. The checkbox in the header selects everything currently shown.

## Can I reply to or forward an insight?

Yes. Open it and use **Reply** or **Forward** to send it to someone else in your Family Office. You can also **Print** it from the same place.

## An insight I expected isn't showing. Where is it?

Check your filters first — a **Type**, **Date Range** or **Read / Unread** chip left set will hide anything outside it. If it's still missing, it may have been archived, so switch on **Include Archived Messages**.

## What's the AI icon next to some holdings?

On rows about public and proprietary holdings, it opens an AI agent that assesses that company's risk and insights against your portfolio.

## Why is my Insights list empty?

Annise hasn't raised anything yet. The list fills in as your accounts sync and there's something worth flagging.
