Analytics
The Analytics tab breaks your portfolio down — how it's allocated by category, geography and industry, how it performs against your benchmarks, and what your income and expenses look like over time.
The Dashboard tells you where you stand and the Chart shows how you got there. Analytics is where you break the number apart — by category, by geography, by industry, against your benchmarks, and across what comes in and goes out.
How it works
Analytics opens on sub-tabs across the top. Which ones you see depends on what you're looking at.
| Sub-tab | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Allocation | How your holdings are distributed, and how that compares to your goals. |
| Performance | Your return against the benchmarks you've chosen. |
| Income/Expenses | What came in and what went out, broken down by category. |
| Risk & Triggers | Barrier and autocall exposure. Appears when you've filtered to the Structured Notes class. |
Everything is drawn in whichever currency you've picked in the top bar.
Allocation
Three pie charts sit side by side:
| Chart | What it splits by | Levels you can drill into |
|---|---|---|
| Categories | Asset category | Group → Class → Asset |
| Geographies | Where the exposure sits | Geography → Country → Asset |
| Industries | Sector exposure | Industry → Sub-Industry → Asset |
Each chart has its own Level selector. Changing it re-draws that chart at the level you pick, so you can stay high-level on one and drill deep on another.
Below the pies, a column chart compares your actual allocation against your allocation goals.
Fund Look-Through
A Fund Look-Through toggle sits above the Allocation charts. Switching it on calculates your true exposure by looking inside the funds you hold, rather than treating each fund as a single line.
It matters most on Geographies and Industries — a single global equity fund counts as one holding with look-through off, and as its underlying exposures with it on. Both charts show Includes underlying fund holdings underneath the title while it's active.
Performance
A single Performance vs Benchmark chart, plotting your return against the benchmarks you've selected.
Income/Expenses
Two charts, each with a Level selector:
- Income — drill from Category into Payor
- Expenses — drill from Category into Payee
An In-Month Actuals toggle controls how the current period is treated. Switch it on to see only actual transaction data for periods still in progress, rather than including estimates.
In-Month Actuals is unavailable on completed periods. If you've selected a period that has already closed, the toggle is greyed out — there are no in-month estimates to strip out.
Risk & Triggers
This sub-tab appears once you've filtered your holdings to the Structured Notes class, and shows two charts:
Headroom — how far the underlying can still fall before the note starts losing principal. A bigger cushion is safer. Notes are green when there's comfortable headroom, and red when they're within 10% of the barrier or buffer, or have already breached it.
Distance to Autocall — how far the underlying sits from the next autocall trigger. Smaller means closer to being called.
Using it
Drilling into a slice
Use the Level selector above a chart to change how finely it breaks things down, or click a slice to drill into it.
Setting allocation goals
The column chart under the Allocation pies compares where you actually are against where you intended to be. Reset Goals sets your allocation goals to match your actual allocation, which is a quick way to start from where you stand today rather than filling each target in by hand.
Troubleshooting
There's nothing to break down yet. Once you've connected an account or added a holding, the charts fill in.
You're viewing a credit card, bank, or loan account. Allocation and Performance don't apply to those — there are no holdings to allocate or benchmark. Income/Expenses stays available.
You're looking at a single security. Only its look-through exposures are meaningful at that level, so Performance and Income/Expenses are hidden.
It only applies to a period that's still running. Select a current period rather than a completed one.
Turn on Fund Look-Through. With it off, a fund counts as a single holding rather than as the exposures inside it.
Headroom needs at least one note with both a protection level and a current underlying price. Distance to Autocall needs at least one note with an upcoming observation date.
