Your profile

Your Annise profile — personal and contact details, tax location, two-factor authentication, password, how you're notified, and the list of what you can see and edit across Family Offices.

Your profile is about you rather than about a Family Office. It follows you across every Family Office you belong to, and it's where your sign-in security lives.

How it works

The profile page has three tabs.

TabWhat it covers
My ProfileYour details, tax location, and security settings.
Notifications SettingsHow Annise reaches you.
AccessWhat you're allowed to see and edit.

My Profile

Your details

Your photo, plus First Name, Last Name, Birthday, Address, Phone Number, Email, and LinkedIn Profile.

Tax location

Country, State, and Tax City. These feed the tax estimates Annise shows you, so it's worth keeping them current if you move.

Security

Two controls sit here:

  • Use 2 Factor Authentication — adds a verification step when you sign in. Turning it on asks you to confirm a code before it takes effect.
  • Allow Annise Support to Access My Family Office and Profile — lets the Annise team see your Family Office when they're helping you. Off means they can't, including while investigating something you've reported.

You can also change your password here, by entering your existing one and the new one twice.

Notifications Settings

Controls how Annise reaches you, per notification, across three channels: Email, Push Notification, and Text Message. Switch a channel off for a notification and that one stops arriving that way, without affecting the others.

This tab sets your personal preferences. The Default Notifications page under Family Office settings sets the starting point for the Family Office as a whole. See Family Office settings.

Access

A read-only list of your permissions on Annise, showing for each membership:

ColumnWhat it shows
AccessWhat the membership is for.
RoleThe role you hold there.
ViewWhether you can see it.
EditWhether you can change it.

If something in Annise is missing or read-only for you, this tab is where you find out why.

Troubleshooting

Check the Access tab. Your role determines which parts of a Family Office you can see and edit, and view-only members see a reduced settings menu.

Allow Annise Support to Access My Family Office and Profile is switched off in your profile. Turn it on so the team can look at what you're reporting.

Check Country, State and Tax City in your profile — the estimates are built from them.

Open Notifications Settings and check the channel you're expecting. Email, Push Notification and Text Message are set separately for each notification.

Family Office settings

Settings that apply to a Family Office rather than to you.
