Location

The Location tab plots your holdings on a world map, clustered by proximity and filterable by asset group, so you can see where your wealth physically sits.

Location puts your holdings on a world map. Where the Analytics Geographies chart tells you how much sits in a country, Location shows you where each holding actually is.

How it works

The map opens zoomed out to show everything at once. Each pin is a place, and a place can hold more than one asset — a building with several holdings registered to it shows as one pin.

What appears on the map

A holding is plotted when Annise has an address on file for it. Anything without one doesn't appear, so the map is a view of your located holdings rather than of everything you own.

That makes the tab most complete for real estate and other physical assets, where an address is part of the record.

Clusters

Pins close together combine into a numbered cluster. Zoom in and clusters break apart into smaller ones and eventually into individual pins.

Filtering by asset group

Filters down the side narrow the map to the groups you care about, with Select All to take everything at once. Assets and liabilities are listed separately:

AssetsLiabilities
Alternative, Cash, Equity, Fixed Income, Private Credit, Private Equity, Real EstateLine Of Credit, Mortgage

Turning a group off removes its holdings from the map. Where a pin holds several assets, only the ones in your selected groups count toward it.

Using it

Looking at a place

Click a pin to open its card. It shows the holding's name and value, along with its gain or loss for the period — as an amount and a percentage.

Where a pin covers several holdings, the card steps through them; use the arrows to move between them.

Assessing exposure

The Location tab carries an AI agent that assesses macro and geopolitical risk for what you're looking at. See AI agents for how the agents work.

Refreshing

The refresh control re-fetches locations. Map data is cached for a few minutes, so use it if you've just added or edited a holding's address and want the map to catch up.

Troubleshooting

Annise doesn't have an address for it. Only holdings with a recorded location are plotted — add an address to the holding and refresh.

That's the sample pin Annise shows when there's nothing to plot yet. It's a placeholder, not one of your holdings — it disappears once you have located holdings.

That's a cluster, not a single holding. The number is how many places it covers. Zoom in and it separates.

Locations are cached for a few minutes. Use the refresh control to reload the map.

Expected if much of what you hold is listed securities rather than physical assets. Check the group filters too — anything switched off is hidden. For a complete geographic split of everything you own, use the Geographies chart on Analytics.
